General Advertising Guidelines for Members

Below are a list of general, good practice guidlines we would request users comply with when posting adverts on Bloogalu Classified.

Use multiple Adverts to promote multiple products
Single adverts should be used to promote single products or a group of similar products rather than an entire unrelated range. If you wish to advertise a range of differing products we would suggest that you post multiple adverts. Currently, users are allowed to post up to 10 free adverts per day.

Yes, you may include a link to your company website but...
You may include a link to your website, company and contact details in the advert description on the condition that the advert itself is for a specific products or service which must be clearly described and where appropriate, priced in the main body of the advert. Simply posting a website address on its own with no corresponding product or service will be seen as spam and removed.

When creating an advert, select the correct city to display your advert in.
The correct city (or your nearest city covered) must be selected when posting adverts that are region specific. This is particularly important for accommodation and property adverts. This is to prevent adverts specific to one particular city being inappropriately displayed in all 25 local Bloogalu websites. Users of Bloogalu Glasgow do not want to see London Flats in their own regional website.
Posting an advert to be displayed in any particular city will result in that advert being displayed in that local Bloogalu website and also automatically in the Bloogalu National website.

Select the option to 'display advert in all regional websites' when your advert is non-region specific.
When you wish to advertise an opportunity, product or service open to users nationwide we encourage users to select the option to ‘display ads in all regional websites’. Your advert will then display in 25 regional Bloogalu Classified sites as well as Bloogalu National.
We hope these guidelines help to improve the quality of the adverts viewable to the user and provide a much better response rate for members choosing to advertise with us.

All users of this site must be over the age of 18 years old and it the responsibility of the parent or guardian of minors to ensure that any persons in their care are protected from any material that may exist on this site that they deem unsuitable.
Before you respond to an advertisement on this site, you take every effort to verify its accuracy and validity before you respond to the advertisement poster.
Bloogalu.com makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that the adverts posted on this site are accurate and reliable but must leave the decision to respond to an advert with you. By responding to an advertisement posted on Bloogalu.com, you the user, agree that you have taken all steps to verify the accuracy and reliability of the advert you respond to and agree to take full responsibility of any actions and consequences that may result. Bloogalu.com takes no responsibility for any financial or personal loss, damage or harm associated in the response to any advert posted on this site to any party, property or persons.

Bloogalu.com reserves the right to pass on to any law enforcement agency the details of any advertisements posted or advertisement poster that breach local or national laws of any state or region either by a formal request by the appropriate law enforcement agency or by bloogalu.com itself to protect itself or its users. This may include revealing IP addresses, personal, registration, advertisement or any details held by Bloogalu.com.
Bloogalu.com values and respects your privacy. By submitting your details you agree to allow Bloogalu.com to hold your personal details.
Your details will not be provided to third parties for commercial use.
